This tour is for curious visitors that enjoy culture and nature. You want to learn more about the area in a private or small group.

Jokkmokk is nothing like any other place. Here, you have the opportunity to spend time with locals and feel the warmth and hospitality we all want to share with you.
This experience is one of a kind. After you have met your wonderfull host Eva Gunnare, you will first go on a small hike through the pine forest where the oldest part of Jokkmokk lies. You will listen about the history of the areas as you taste the flavor of trees and forest plants. You will pass the Alpine Garden and go into the area where many Sámi reindeer herders live - Lappstan, also called Gielas. The tour ends at the Alpine garden or the beautiful museum.

This experience usually starts at 10.00 AM but at request we can also book another time.
Standard price with 2 to 4 persons - 1100 SEK p.p.
Groups 5 persons to 25 persons - price at request
