Perfect outdoor experience for those who want to spend some hours outdoors and learn how to fish in one of the frozen lakes at the same time.
The guide will drive a snowmobile and you are a passenger. On the snowmobiles we drive between lakes and taiga. We will reach little lakes located approx. 20 minutes from our place. Off course all necessary equipment and fishing licenses are with us.Â
You will have to make a hole in the ice, using a manuel drill and then practice with your rod, also called waddling. This type of fishing requires patience and also resistance to the cold. Little perch and pike that are under the ice sheet live at this time of year in hibernation mode and are sometimes very curious when we offer them our bait.
We practice catch and release ice fishing (no kill). A nice home made lunch and hot drinks around a fire is off course included. Â
***Note;
Prepare yourself by protecting your skin with special Cold Creme which you can buy in the pharmacy. Do not use creme or make up, which include aqua, since aqua freezes. Only products based on oil are suitable to use outside.Â

After you have arrived on location, you will receive a warm overall and warm boots.
The guide will drive to a good spot where you will learn how to drill a whole and how to fish. Hot drink is included.

During winter being outside for approx. 3 hours, mostly sitting still, can be very challenging for children. That´s why we recommend that the tour is suitable for ages starting at 12 years. If you however have younger children, do not hesitate to ask us. We will always try to find something suitable for you.
From minus 15, some guides can decide to cancel the tour.
It is an outdoor experience and it is winter.
First, never have creme on your skin. It has aqua in it and it freezes. No vaseline either. Buy a special cold cream
creme, which is based on oil. The pharmacy can help you.
Mittens, hat, woolen socks, sunglasses! All important to think about.
