Snowmobile experiences
Enjoy the ride while you share a snowmobile with your partner or friend, or choose to drive your own snowmobile.
We offer several snowmobile tours, in different price categories and not just in Jokkmokk.
In this description below you can read how a tour can look like. Please send us your request and we will give you the best offer possible.Â
Coffee tour - approx. 2 hours incl. getting dressed and instructions
Lunch tour - approx. 4 hours incl. getting dressed and instructionsÂ
After you have met the guide you will receive a warm overall, warm boots, warm gloves and helmet.Â
You will get a short instruction how to drive the snowmobile before the tour starts. After you feel more secure we speed up and start heading over the frozen lakes and through the snowy white forest. Depending how the weather conditions are, fresh snow or perfect flattened trails we can speed up or we must adjust to the heavy snow. Safety comes always first!
Halfway we will stop for a break. If you booked a coffee tour, there will be a short break, a cup of coffee with cake will be served.Â
If you booked a lunch tour, there will be an open fire, with coffee and light lunch. A great moment to hear more about the Arctic way of life. Enjoy the silence around you, the fresh Arctic air, beautiful midwinter colours in the sky.Â
After this break we will head home and you can choose to return to your accommodation or you can plan a stop in Jokkmokk for some shopping.
*Note;
During the coldest months, December, January and February we advice not to bring very young children. That is why we wrote age from 12 years. Children get cold pretty fast, just sitting still. If you have children younger than 12, please ask us. Depending on the temperatures, younger children can sit in a trailer behind the guide and his snowmobile. We will help you the best possible way we can to make it a comfortable experience for young and old.
*Some partners can decide to cancel the tour is the temperatures are coming below minus 20.
*Some guides only book coffee tours until 1st of March because of the extreme cold during Midwinter.
We will always check with you, our guest and our partners what options we can offer you! Together we find the best tour for you.

First, we strongly advice you not to ware make-up, cremes nor Vaseline
Usually they are based on aqua and aqua freezes.
If the temperatures are cold you even might "forget" to wash your face, better to do that the evening before. The pharmacy is selling a special cold cream, based on oil. Use that for your skin.
Usually if a child can sit on it´s own, they can follow. It is the temperatures that can be dangerous for children. While they sit still they cool down too fast. That´s why the season is important. March and April are the best months for smaller children.

Hej Olga
