We already came a long way driving this moose safari. But why not make this tour longer?

If the weather conditions allow us, like no heavy snow or thick clouds, we extend the tour driving to Kvikkjokk. We pass Årrenjarka Mountain lodge. Once we have arrived in the small mountain village Kvikkjokk, we will have a stunning view over the national parks Padjelanta and Sarek. The populiar hiking trail "Kungsleden" begins in Kvikkjokk. 

The village is also known for its beautiful wooden church and cemetery. The first chapel was build in 1763, before that people used a "painted cabin" as a worship. The church as we know it now is build in 1907 at the same place where the old chapel was situated. It was restored in 1961.

The STF Hostel in Kvikkjokk, is a perfect place for tourists to prepare themselves before departure for longer outdoor tours, like hiking, skiing, snowmobile tours and dogsledding.

Depending on the opening hours from the Mountain lodge or Kvikkjokk Hostel, we will make a short stop there as well.

This tour can be booked at the latest 1 day in advance before 12.00.

Schedule

This is additional to the Moose safari. Instead for returning after about 65 km, we proceed to Kvikkjokk.
On our way back we will have another coffeebreak.

• Transfer from accommodation outside Jokkmokk is possible at request and against additional costs
